THIS?NEEDS?TO?BE?RESTAURANT ? best BBQ around. This was a shot in the dark. I pulled in randomly and smelled amazing food. And it was just that. Amazing. The spicy sauce slapped and I poured it on everything. It was a spicy mustard honey sauce. I got the rib tip dinner and the pulled pork diner for my husband and it was just fire. Even my daughter who I already cooked a separate dinner for ate some bread with sauce and Mac. We loved it. Also the collards were some of the best I've ever tasted aside from my own. That's a compliment because I am extremely picky with my collards. The banana pudding was a treat yall. GET YOU SOME MUCK CITY BBQ

Food was delicious! The smoke flavor was perfect on the smoked chicken, the rib tips were meaty and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender. The BBQ sauce is house made and the perfect companion to the smoky flavor on the meat. And to top it off, the collard greens were some of the best I've ever had. Peanut, the owner, is passionate about what he does and it shows. Definitely a must-eat in town!

We ordered the Chicken and Ribs combo dinner with macaroni and cheese and potato salad. Everything was Delicious! It’s hard to find good BBQ spots with meat that are not dried out. Their chicken was juicy and the ribs were perfect! The sides and sauces were very tasty as well. Very grateful that they were not stinging with the amount of food they give you on your plate. Check out the photos! Definitely a good bang for your buck and causes returning customers!

Well I wrote a really long detailed review but accidentally backed out before I could post it... So here's the basic version!

•MENU•
-Lots of good meal options (including kids meals).
-3 sauces (sweet, regular, spicy).
-Ribs so good they don't even NEED sauce (and yes the meat slides right off the bone).
-Cheesy Mac, creamy potato salad, classic tasting baked beans.
-Delicious southern sweet tea.
-Pulled pork sandwich combo comes with 2 sandwiches AND 2 sides?!

•SEATING•
-Picnic tables for plenty of seating space.
-Awning over seating area for lots of shade on a hot day.

•SERVICE•
-The 2 men working there were super nice.
-Food came out fast but still tasted super fresh (although my sister and I were the only 2 there so that may have helped the speed a bit).
-Got to sample the rib tips when we were trying to figure out what we wanted (they were also really good).

Overall a great place with great prices and, if you've stayed to read this whole review, I would highly recommend you give it a shot!

We stopped in to Muck City on a Sunday afternoon. What a great find! Great setup, a small food truck corral. Had the chicken and ribs dinner with two sides. It’s a lot! Smokey and tender, loved it all. We also had the Mac & cheese, collards and the banana pudding. Treat yourself!
These folks are wonderful and will treat you right.

Food is yummy and customer service is great.. I’m not even a big rib eater, but the rib tip dinner is bomb! I haven't gotten a chance to check out other menu items yet, but I’m sure they’ll be a hit too. Oh sweet tea and the sweet sauce

There is absolutely not one thing I ordered here I didn’t LOVE. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Peanut served us and was so kind and told us about how Muck City got their start! It was truly a really memorable experience. You can tell this is his passion, he truly loves to see his customers happy and enjoy the meals he cooks. If you’re looking to be blown away this place will not miss! The banana pudding is some of the BEST IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! Also the collard greens hit every craving I had and beyond. If you’re looking for the definition of BBQ, this is the place! 🙂

Yall!!!! Thank you!!!! From my best friend and I thank you!!! Yall didn’t know it when we stopped in this past Saturday that my dad had died unexpectedly the Saturday evening before. We were clearing out his things and I was like we gotta eat lunch and I wanted BBQ and I have been to yall before and it was amazing then but this time was special! Yall recommended we get the dinner which came with 2 sandwiches and sides and like it was cheaper! You were there to help us enjoy your food with saving money which meant less for yall! That meant a lot! Not many places do that now a days! We ordered the pork dinner and I got Mac and cheese and and extra side of potato salad and sweet bbq sauce SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!! my best friend got the pork and bbq sauce on side and baked beans! We both got banana pudding! And yall so graciously brought out our food to us under the covered super cute picnic area and gave us two of your speciality drinks. Which were DELICIOUS YALL! Yall made my entire day…:with your kindness and you didn’t even know what was going on in my day that day but yall made it 10x better with amazing food, your incredible kindness and just being able to sit outside and breathe! I will be back!!!! Yall need to try them! Whoever reads this…..yall need to go try them out!
